Everyone here at Pittsburg Marine loves to fish! We fish FLW Outdoors BFL Events, Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail, Kentucky Bass Federation, KHSAA High School Events, etc. We also host buddy tournaments such as the Annual Thanksgiving Buddy Tournament & Fish’n for Missions on Lake Cumberland. Plus we like to brag a little on our customers when they do well!! 10th Annual Fish’n for Missions

This year’s tournament was greeted with a wet forecast but the LORD had other things in mind! The rain held off pretty much all day long and the fish were ready to bite! Congratulations to longtime friend of the Pittsburg Marine family Doyle Epperson & Josh Muse for winning the 10th Annual Fish’n for Missions Tournament at Lake Cumberland! They weighed in a 5 fish limit that went 17.92 anchored by Big Fish of the day a 6.06 Largemouth! They received $1,100 plus 3 Fish’n for Missions Bibles (God’s word is priceless!!!) for their efforts!! Finishing out the top 10 in 2nd was 2018 Fish’n for Missions winners Brad Moore & Harvey Gooden with 15.71, in 3rd Brian Smith & Russell Brinson with 14.09, in 4th Team Pittsburg Marine’s Roger Wattenbarger & Randy Baker with 13.97, in 5th Mike & Paul Stringer with 13.61, in 6th Jimmy Moses & Kevin Hewitt with 13.32, in 7th Team Pittsburg Marine’s Dean Turner & Rick Smith with 12.53, in 8th Mickey Ballard & Doug Sandlin with 12.30, in 9th Barry Snell & Jeff Byrd with 11.86 and in 10th Dustin Bishop & Kyle Lear with 11.53. A BIG “Thank You!!” to all 93 teams and all the sponsors that help make Fish’n for Missions possible!! They weighed in a 5 fish limit that went 16.51 anchored by a 4.43 Smallmouth! They received $1,000 plus 2 Fish’n for Missions Bibles (God’s word is priceless!!!) for their efforts!! Finishing out the top 10 in 2nd was 2017 Thanksgiving Buddy Tournament winners Shawn & Shane Branscum with 14.17, in 3rd Doyle Epperson & Josh Muse with 12.69, in 4th Asa Adams & Ricky Harris with 12.15, in 5th Mickey Ballard & Doug Sandlin with 11.88, in 6th Ben & Keith Graves with 11.73, in 7th Team Pittsburg Marine Fisherman Mike & John Devere with 11.51, in 8th Randy Conkwright & Chris Mitchell with 10.48, in 9th Jerret Sexton & Anthony Brumley with 9.41 and in 10th Team Pittsburg Marine Fisherman Richard Bowling & Rex Mink with 9.17. BFL Mountain Division Points Champion
*9/23/18* Congratulations to Team Pittsburg Marine Fisherman Brian Wilson of Somerset, Ky. for winning the points in the BFL Mountain Division for 2018!! Brian racked up a total of 1,306 points for the year and $3,575 plus earned an extra $3,000 for winning the points!! Now it’s off to the Chickamauga Regional to attempt to qualify for his second BFL All-American!! Good Luck Brian!! #GodBlessAndGoodFishin
BFL Super Tournament @ Barren River
*9/23/18* Congratulations to Team Pittsburg Marine Fisherman Densmore Goodson of Letcher, Ky for his 2nd place finish in the final BFL Mountain Division event for 2018 at Barren River! Densmore had a two day total of 24-8 and earned $2,664 for his efforts!! Also finishing in the money for Team Pittsburg Marine in 7th was Keith Monson with 21-6, 12th and 2018 points champion Brian Wilson with 19-6 and in 13th Mike Devere with 18-13! On the Co-Angler side Team Pittsburg Marine Fisherman Jason Ratcliff finished in 3rd place with 15-12!
